@pax: When I first created Jigsaw puzzles my solver also checked for URs but then it ran into a wrong UR making the puzzle insolvable in the end.
So - like Andrew did for his Jigsaw Sudoku solver - I excluded UR checking. There might be constellations where it is still possible, but I'm very unsure about this.

@hepa: Probably Jigsaw puzzles have a slightly different behaviour than standard Str8ts puzzles.
In order to increase speed a little bit, I use the solver for standard Str8ts, create a new puzzle, insert black fields and given numbers. 3 weeks ago the solver finally showed a complete solution, when I entered this solution into the Jigsaw puzzle, there were about 30 wrong fields. Some were easy to identify, when digits appeared twice in a Jigsaw field.
Is this a contradiction to UR or not - I cannot say...

Challenging, but nice. Combining the hints of OneGuess and pax. If no 4 is in row 1 or 5 in A5, this gives issues in row 4 using setti 2, setti 8 and UR in CD34. At the end I used another UR in GJ34 to finish.
